SHOW SUBMISSION FOR FS ARTISTS ONLY
Our next Exhibition is planned for September. This is the Artist call information.
FIRST SATURDAY presents the “BE SQUARE TO BE THERE” Exhibition
PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY.
We welcome all First Saturday Artists to Enter. To be considered everything must be of a SQUARE format.
It is Free to enter, and you may submit up to 3 pieces. Maximum Size is 30x30” framed or unframed. Sales are directly through the artist and a small 10% commission is submitted to First Saturday after the show.

2D Images of artwork only, please crop.
3D objects your images should be of the object or objects on a plain neutral background. These images will be used for Instagram.

Drop-off Deadline: Sunday Sept.21st 11am-5pm to Marney-Rose Edge studio 320,
1000 Parker St, Vancouver. Buzz 320 for entry into the building

Exhibition Dates: Sept.26- Oct.5 2025

Opening Reception: Fri.26th September 5-8pm
Pick-up Date: End of show day Oct.5 5 -6:30pm (or text/call 778 875 0258 to book an appointment after Oct 5.)
SQUARE format paintings, illustrations, Cut Paperwork, photography, jewellery, pottery,
woodwork, textiles…All mediums are welcome.
Acceptable work:
Work should use deep or slim canvas, back stapled, or deep or slim wood cradles.
All sides must be painted in a flat colour or the painting image is continued onto the sides.
2D works must be prepared with D rings and wire for hanging. No sawtooth hangers.
3D work – please provide display cases for jewellery. A limited number of plinths are available. Please let us know if your work requires it or if you have special requirements for display.
Label your work:
Clearly print information and tape to the back of your work (for labels to be made)
